I have been going CRAZY wanting to post all of these wonderful photos for you!! But I couldn’t post them and risk showing off someone’s cute pictures before they sent out their Christmas Cards!!
So..I have decided that I have waited long enough. If you don’t have your Christmas (or by now New Year’s) cards out…well….sorry 🙂

The Christmas Tree Mini Sessions were a BLAST!! This was the first year for them and they were VERY popular! There were a limited number of spots and they booked up in less than 72 hours!! It was a busy afternoon, but it was SO FUN!! The kids did great, and I had lots of Candy Canes to bribe the ones that had a rough time! 🙂  I am happy that I was able to provide so many people with cute family pictures for their Christmas Cards. I can’t wait until next Christmas!

TWINS!! I have had the privilege of photographing these two cuties since they were born! Photographing twins is a BLAST! I love watching them interact and I also enjoy watching mom try to wrangle the two of them into one photograph! Mothers of twins are definitely part super hero. I don’t know how they do it!
I have never seen two kids love cake so much!! They went crazy over it. WHAT A GREAT DAY!

I love getting to follow a family through the first year of their child’s life! What a blessing to get to capture this special year. This little boy has always been all smiles. I love getting to see his smiling face and see how much he has grown since out last session.
He is now ONE and so big and FUN!! We had a BLAST running around and exploring the park (and the dirt…what little boy doesn’t love the dirt!). He also LOVED his cake! At the end he chased me around the park with cake trying to feed it to me and my camera..AHHH!!! WHAT A BLAST!

he thought it was pretty funny chasing me with cake!  ðŸ™‚

With almost every single photo session I am asked the one big question that is on everyone’s mind:

WHAT DO I WEAR?!

what to wear
*This is my family and what we wore for our photo session*

This question terrifies people, causes them to lose sleep, and even causes some to avoid taking pictures all together! (the last one is just unacceptable folks….) Well, have no fear. I am here to help you calm down.

STOP
TAKE A DEEP BREATH
You can do this.
I am here to help!  🙂
I had my family photographed by the amazing Megan Squires Photography, so I know EXACTLY what you are going through. I actually started having dreams about what we should wear!! I thought I would go crazy. I had to remind myself what I always tell my clients.
I follow these 3 simple rules:
#1 – Mom picks her clothes FIRST! “If mama ain’t happy, ain’t nobody happy!” This is SO true when it comes to pictures. Moms, pick out your outfit and then match everyone else to YOU! I am serious! You will be glad you did!
#2 – Pick 3 or 4 colors for your clothing. For our photos I chose  orange, light blue and grey. We are not ALL wearing ALL of the colors, but our outfits are made up of these colors. This way you coordinate, but are not too “matchy matchy”.
#3 – Be comfortable! If you don’t normally wear high heels, then DON’T! We didn’t even wear shoes for our family pictures because that was US! You want your family to shine, so be YOURSELF!!
The most important thing?   HAVE FUN!
Here are some of the amazing photographs from our session. How do you think I did planning our outfits?

Yep! It is already that time of year! Can you even believe it? I can’t, but it is true!
So hurry up and book your Christmas Mini Session
These are MINI sessions, so they are only 30 minutes long.
**the perfect amount of time to do some pictures before the kids totally loose it.

Best part?! You don’t even have to worry about finding a fantastic Christmas card. You get a custom designed Christmas Card with your session!! Check out last years Christmas blog post to see some of the fabulous cards I designed for those clients!
To reserve your time email me your top 3 time slots (they are in 30 minute increments, so you would email me 3 times such as 10am, 7:30 or 8).
I am looking forward to seeing you all there!!
